It is my honor to invite you to join us in Istanbul in 2015.
This is the first time that TSITT is hosting the annual International No-Dig Conference and Exhibition. The 33rd International No-Dig will take place on 28-30 September 2015 at the WOW Convention Center situated a few minutes from Istanbul Ataturk airport and downtown.
With 8,500 years of a glamorous history, Istanbul has always been an important metropolis of its days. Former capital of many empires including Roman, Byzantine and the Ottoman Empire the city holds within some of the precious ancient monuments as well as a unique beauty with the Bosphorus running across the city separating Europe and Asia.
Istanbul is considered to be one of the main air traffic hubs connecting more than 300 international airlines from Europe to Middle-East, Asia and Africa. Thanks to the Turkish Airlines massive network (flying to more countries in the world than any other airline) Istanbul became a more popular and widely visited destination with 2 international airports in each continents.
The Turkish Society for Infrastructure and Trenchless Technology was established in 2010. Several successful national No-Dig events have been held since 2011. Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroglu, Turkish Minister for Water Works said that “Trenchless technology is a must for entire Turkey.” on 18 November 2011 during No-Dig Turkey Summit. Moreover, the Mayor of Istanbul, Dr. Kadir Topbas, supporting the trenchless solutions for Istanbul, re-elected as the president of the United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) until 2016.
